About Cari
Working with individuals 18+, I have experience in clinical and hospital settings, supporting those facing anxiety, caregiver stress, chronic pain, dependency, existential / spiritual distress, grief (including perinatal loss), identity concerns (including Imposter Syndrome), life transitions, loneliness / isolation, self-esteem challenges, spiritual injuries, and trauma. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals navigating grief (both death and non-death losses), spiritual struggles and distress, and women living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Taking a collaborative, client-centered approach, I recognize that you are the expert of your own story. To support your unique needs and therapeutic goals, I integrate several modalities, including Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP). I understand that entering the tender space of therapy can feel intimidating. My goal is to foster an environment where interpersonal safety empowers you to share life’s difficult moments. Throughout our work together, I strive to create a therapeutic space rooted in empathy, warmth, encouragement, psychoeducation – and a little bit of humour. In May 2025, I graduated with a Master of Psychospiritual Studies (MPS) from Knox College at the University of Toronto. I also completed a Certificate in Thanatology (the study of dying, death, grief, and bereavement) from Conestoga College in 2024. Before becoming a mental health professional, I worked as an editor and earned degrees in History / English and Publishing. I am a member of the Bereavement Ontario Network (BON), the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC), the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMPH), and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), where I serve on the executive committee for the Spirituality in Counselling Chapter.

Cancellation Policy
When you book a session, your clinician reserves their time for you. In the event that you will be unable to keep an appointment, please notify your clinician at least 24 hours in advance, so that someone else may utilize the time. Similarly, when your clinician is unable to keep the appointment with you, they will give you more than a 24-hour notice and rebook to another date and time.
In the case whereby you are unable to provide 24-hour cancellation notice (e.g., you cancel an appointment on the day of the appointment [i.e., the same day] or do not show up for a scheduled appointment), unless for emergency reasons (e.g., medical or family emergencies), you will be charged the fee for your session and payment will be required at your next scheduled session.
Note: Employee Assistance Programs and other insurance-based programs will not reimburse you, the client, for missed appointment costs.
